Hunting in the North West.

I am taking a forced vacation (Erin says, GO! PLEASE!) back to Oregon. I and my partners are spending an entire week in the mountains, almost certain we will get at least 1 elk.. Wish us luck!

I am also going to stay for an entire month. I have Studebaker projects to work on and will be bringing my 61 Lark VIII Regal back home with me. So of course, that means I am driving my big F350 with the 7.3 diesel and pulling a tilt bed trailer. Good news, that will cause far less wind resistance than my big enclosed trailer!  I might stay above 7 mpg...

And to top everything off, December 8th is my twin brother's and my birthday. That is the real reason my wife said to take a full month. She always tries to make sure we have our birthday together.
Here is a photo from a LONG time ago. I have the better looking funny hat and the cool moustache.

So, after I get home from my trip out west, I will endeavor to bring you more old firearm and ancient equipment goodness! Until then, have a good Veterans Day, and remember those who've gone before.
And have a Happy Thanksgiving!
